As the fall season comes to an end, the tennis team was very happy with the overall outcome. This season for our girls’ team was nothing short of remarkable. Our lady Mustangs won 10 out of 15 games and definitely showed their full potential throughout the season. Coach Remy and the girls are both so happy with the scores and the positive energy, and can’t wait for next season.

The girls’ tennis season went very well. As Coach Remy said, “The season was bittersweet.” The girls’ team won all games besides their matches against Armijo and two to Vanden, but Coach Remy believes they will come back strong next year and win all against Vanden and hopefully win to Armijo as well. But even with these losses, the girls still managed to come in third in the league, which made them and coach Remy very happy.

Although it was Coach Remy’s first year back, he has coached in the past and said this was by far one of his best. Although he was very proud of the whole team, he said his doubles stood out the most by far for never losing a match. Coach Remy also said, “My star players this year were Jasmine Lee and Adrianna Vree for all their hard work and their determined attitudes.” Both girls did amazing this year, and even though it is Adrianna’s last year, Jasmine Lee plans to continue her victory into her senior year.

Since it was Coach Remy’s first year back, he had to take this year to learn the players, but now that he knows them, he is very excited for next season. Everyone is still reminiscing on how good this season was and can’t wait until next year. The girls and the coach are ready to make the little adjustments needed to earn first in the league next year.
